Who We Are
Jessica, LMHC, She/Her
Owner & Staff Therapist
I love to facilitate reflective yet practical therapy that has the potential to bring about long-term benefits. I come to this work with ten+ years of experience in the trauma and education fields after having lived and worked in Southeast Europe and Western Asia as part of refugee, terrorism, trafficking, domestic violence, and trauma response teams.
I have an M.A. in Clinical Psychology, an M.A. in International Development, and post-graduate training in relevant areas such as complex trauma, grief, attachment, affective neuroscience, and early childhood mental health. I'm EMDR-trained through EMDRIA, trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, a NARM®-Informed Professional, a Circle of Security® Parenting™ Facilitator, and a certified Safe and Sound Protocol Listening Therapy provider.
I believe it's a privilege that I get to be a therapist every day and I truly respect what goes into the process of entrusting your story to someone else - even if it's just for one hour each week. My hope for those I work with is that they will leave therapy with more self-kindness, self-knowledge, helpful tools, and a sense of resilience and recovery that will continue to serve them as they move forward in life.
Jessica is currently only accepting new clients for short-term services: EMDR intensives, ART, and Safe & Sound Therapy. She provides in--person services in Seattle and Everett, plus telehealth.
Carlos, LSWAIC, They/Them
I'm passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ and trauma survivors with an approach rooted in the sincere belief that you are the expert on your own life. Using both somatic and cognitive therapies, my hope is that you learn to reconnect with yourself and those around you as we move through your therapeutic journey together.
I have a Master's of Social Work in Mental Health and Substance Use, as well as training and interest in mindfulness-based approaches, Internal Family Systems, Brainspotting, and other supportive modalities. I also bring a rich history working as a yoga and meditation instructor, which not only adds to my toolbox for assisting you but also informs the way I show up and facilitate the therapy process.
Together, we will develop a sense of trust and collaborative plan of care that gives you the support and tools you're seeking. My role as your therapist isn't to provide a prescription for what you should do, but to hold space that supports your unique process and path to healing - allowing you to have invaluable agency over your own story.
Carlos provides services via telehealth only so they can support you no matter where you are in WA State.
Emily, LMHCA, She/Her
I know starting your therapy journey can be uncomfortable, perhaps even scary, and so one of my primary intentions is to bring as much ease to this process as possible. I focus on collaborating with you to create a relationship that's built on non-judgment and genuine connection. I meet you where you are in your journey rather than where I want you to go - from there, we then get to be curious about your hopes for our time together, building a way forward that will promote your healing and mental well-being.
As part of supporting you, I integrate tools from cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment therapies, solution-focused approaches, and EMDR. While I love to walk alongside all different types of client journeys, I have a particular passion for working with survivors of narcissistic relationships and other relational, familial, and sexual traumas.
I have an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, six+ years of experience working in the mental health field, am EMDR-trained through EMDRIA, and have an interest in building knowledge around somatic therapies. I began my journey in the foster care/dependency system, after which I transitioned to helping therapy-seekers get connected with services in the midst of crisis and emotional distress, and, since then, have focused on supporting clients in private practice.
Emily provides services via telehealth only so she can support you no matter where you are in WA State.
Sarah, LMHCA, She/Her
I am honored and humbled to hold space for you on your journey to recovery and healing. I love to work with each unique human that sits in front of me, no matter where you come from or where you want to go. I am particularly passionate about working with LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent individuals, and religious trauma survivors.
I have an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and work from a humanistic, person-centered foundation. I enjoy supporting clients through somatic approaches, mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, and other trauma-sensitive modalities. Before becoming a clinician, I worked in social services supporting a wide array of populations, from high school and college students, to adults, to families and their young children.
Our work will start wherever you need it to begin. We'll collaborate on tailoring a plan that best meets your needs, whether it's creating more space for empathy, sharing practical techniques, or other unique intentions you have for yourself. As your therapist, it would be a privilege to walk alongside you.
Sarah provides services via telehealth only so she can support you no matter where you are in WA State.
Nora, LSWAIC, She/Her
I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable taking steps towards your healing. Trauma may increase physical, mental, and emotional distress, leading to symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more. No matter how trauma continues to impact your life, I will collaborate with you in finding ways to cope and reprocess your experiences so that we can reduce your distress and symptoms.
I have a Master of Social Work, am EMDR-trained through EMDRIA, and have completed play therapy trainings for my work with children. EMDR is my primary mode of working with clients and I am particularly passionate about supporting survivors of sexual and domestic violence. Alongside EMDR, I also utilize evidence-based practices such as CBT and DBT to support your journey.
I am dedicated to empowering you to see your own inherent strengths and wisdom, which pave the way towards healing.
Nora focuses on providing EMDR therapy and currently works via telehealth.
Kellsie, BA, She/Her
Whatever you bring to the table, I begin each therapy journey by developing an understanding and warm relationship with you. I encourage imperfection to show up so that you can be deeply seen and known. Together, we build a safe and compassionate space where you get to honor your story and find the healing you're seeking.
My approach with clients is trauma-informed and influenced by evidence-based therapies such as DBT. Most importantly, I work to meet you where you are and tailor my approach and interventions to your individual needs. I enjoy connecting with clients from all walks of life and feel particularly drawn to working with the LGBTQIA+ community. I have additional specialized training in work with transgender and gender-nonconforming individuals and their families.
There are many parts that make us who we are and I strive to honor this diversity and intersectionality in the therapy room. I work hard to understand the systems of oppression that impact you and dismantle the systemic biases that are ingrained in our society.
Reaching out for help is a powerful first step and I would be honored to work with you.
Kellsie provides services via telehealth and in-person.
