Abbi

(She/They)

Feeling distressed in today’s world is not a personal failing—it’s a natural human response.

We live within systems that prize profit and power over wellness, community, and care. For those who are immigrants, queer, neurodivergent, disabled, Covid-conscious, or otherwise marginalized, the world can feel especially hostile. I also work with people navigating body-focused repetitive behaviors (like skin picking or hair pulling), chronic pain, and PMDD.

My approach is rooted in decolonized therapy, liberation psychology, emotionally focused therapy, and existentialism. Together we’ll look both inward and outward—honoring the ways external systems have shaped your experience while developing coping strategies that meet your needs and help you move toward a life that feels authentic and meaningful.

Wellness is always relational, cultural, generational, spiritual, physical, and emotional. And therapy is a place where these truths are named and where your full humanity is welcomed. My hope is to support you in radically and intentionally embracing your humanity.
